hdj 81 left spindle part # (urgent-thanks)

hey guys need some real time help.

left front outer wheel bearing failed in my hdj81 and mangled the spindle. apparently the NA and JDM part numbers are one digit off and I'm just wondering if they were improved or if there is a real difference.

NA for a '96 LX450 is 43401-60080

JDM i believe is 43401-60090 (not 100% on this but know they are different)

Could somebody please verify or answer this question for me?

Don't know if they're the same or different, but using the EPC and looking up those numbers:
43401-60080 SPINDLE SUB-ASSY, STEERING KNUCKLE for 9908-on HZJ7#
43401-60090 SPINDLE SUB-ASSY, STEERING KNUCKLE for 9908-on HZJ71,74,76

I'm pretty jealous if you have a '99 or later HZJ76

Searching the same part for an HDJ81 I get:
43401-60040 SPINDLE SUB-ASSY, STEERING KNUCKLE for 9001-9107 FJ80,HDJ81,HZJ81..STD,GX,VX
substituted by: 43401-60041

Can you meassure the lenngth of the birf please. I'd replace the birf as well - dones't look good.youd hate for that to snap when you really need it. I have a birf here that might fit for you. Measure length and width at the bearing surface. Also, please measure the spindle length and width at beaing surfaces.

You get new races when you buy new bearings - just buy Koyo bearings - replace the races for sure.

Let me know the measurements and I will see what I have.

43401-60041 subs up to 43401-60080 on the Toyota North America parts system.... Sug ret $500cad. OUCH.
