Welcome Adam, sounds like you have set up your LX very nicely. Looking forward to having you join us on future wheeling trips!

welcome Adam! sounds like a great rig!

FoxWing Awning

I've been considering getting one of these for the Baja trip this spring. Have you had yours for very long and how do you like it?

OME Lift and fully gut the AHC all components

Mike,
I got the foxwing in September and have yet to actually use it on a trip. I just set it up to check it out but that's about it so far. I think I am really going to enjoy it. I was looking at a Hannibal or new Eezi Awn awning being they both area self supporting. But I couldn't swallow the $1400 eezi awn price tag! Let me know if you ever want to check it out

I am not too concerned about the lift project, just trying to get the parts order together and get it going soon. I really want to add my second battery setup but need the AHC out first!

Adam -

Welcome! Some pics of your rig would be great when you have a chance. We look forward to wheeling with you!

I just moved back here from Australia where I lived for seven years. Over there your rig is the Prado and the spare is mounted on the rear door. I just can't get used to seeing those with the flat door.

They do have a good reputation in Australia though, at least the diesels do. Good efficiency, lots of power and reasonably capable off road. I look forward to seeing yours on a run soon.

The New Guy

Hello HDC folks. After some googling I ran into the HDC webpage and got in contact with El Presidente BionicCruiser. Hope to join up and maybe get to participate on your Super Bowl run.

I've been driving stock TLCs for sometime now. First was a 79' FJ55 and now have a 92' FJ80 "Brownie". I'll add a pic for the avatar when I figure out how!

Looking forward to meeting the HDC crew. Looks like you guys have a blast running around NM!

I know. I have told Daisy that my name and email is still on the web site a while back. can we get it changed to Ash's. :D

oh, and welcome Jake! glad you made it over here! hope to see you on an event soon.

Already fixed Shawn. We just need to fix the membership application.

Did you?
Maybe I'm getting old and forgetful, I dont remember that!

Either way it looks like Ash has it squared away!

Daisy

it was a year ago, and yes they got it done.:D

Hey guys,

alia176 brought this thread to my attention. I've had my 80 for a few years now, and have been lurking (with some occasional posts here 'n there) on the forum for a bit. Moved to ABQ not too long ago, and brought my truck over a few weeks ago. Figured I'd say introduce myself, say hi, and see if you guys have any meet 'n greets comin up soon?

Sorry guys...got tied up with work =-/

Speaking of which, I went down to Roswell & back a few days ago, and simply not being able to maintain my speed on uphills REALLY got to me. I think imma bite the bullet and go with supercharger, but I wanted to make sure it was enough power for me. Anyone local have a TRD supercharger on their 80 by any chance that I could get a feel for?
