Hazard switch as low budget CDL switch (1 Viewer)

So re the hazard switched has anyone used one? I bought one for a couple of buck of ebay from a 4skinner. I cut the notch out of the plug and everything appears to work. The ABS light and the CDL light come on in high just curious if I'm risking anything else? I popped the hazard indicator out and plan on sticking something else in it place. I'll do the 7 pin soon if I have nothing to worry about with this mod.

I placed teh switch on the upper left location and relo'd the alarm indicator although I might switch them as I like would be crooks to see the flashing alarm light.

Nope...it should work fine. Some have reported problems with using the hazard switch, but I think it was with 93/94 models.

You have a 95-97, I assume?
