I paid a little over $31K but with tax and junk fees, I ended up paying like $35K.

@kwelhand Sounds like you got one of the better deals around. I‘m happy with what I paid in this market. Heck, I just sold an 06 with almost 300k miles on it for more than I paid.

Also, I saw on a different thread some of the issues that you have had to fix on yours. You still pleased with the purchase? I am already trying to chase down a shake/shimmy in the front end on mine. Had the tires rotated and balanced yesterday (they have approx. 5k on them). However the shake is still there between 40-60 MPH. I guess the next step is to bleed the AHC. Hopefully that will fix the issue.

I am leaning toward selling the 470. I may offer it up for trade for an 80 in the near future. Most of my camping consist of one annual trip to the Cape Hatteras area for 4-5 days of camping on the beach, surf fishing and surfing … I don’t need sliders for that! I’ve never owned an 80 (I have had 3 100s now). Seems like it would be fun to buy one that I can wrench on from time to time.

The decent deal and the search for AT tires has taken a sudden turn for the worse …. Leaking shock and a leaking timing cover. Guess the tires will have to wait.
