Has anyone swaped RHD Depo headlight lowbeam deflectors to LHD version?

I came across a set of Depos, finally. However I opened the box and they are right hand drive (RHD).

I have made adjustments to up/down/left/right screws to align them for LHD but the only difference, from what I can see is the low beam H4 bulb deflector and of course the RHD stamping & no DOT stamp.

The deflectors are only held in place by 1 screw. Has anyone swapped these out?

Also, anyone who has installed HID projectors, if you still have the old LHD Depo deflectors, please let me know.

Another Mud member had them as spares for his old 80. In his defense, he didn't know they were RHD as they were new in box and the box was not marked RHD.

Here are a few pictures borrowed from one of Mot's threads showing the difference between LHD and RHD lights at low beam.

The deflector covering the low beam bulb creates the light pattern.
You can see how the LHD drive light has a deflection up on the right in the top picture (that is what I am looking to do here) and vice versa with the RHD.

I pulled the reflectors out of my depos before cooking them to remove the glass. It was trivial and I would imagine swapping them would be just as trivial. The metal clip that holds the bulb in comes out with it (I think), just make sure you take a picture of it before taking anything off so you have a visual of how it supposed to be when you put it back together.

From what I can see of the deflectors that are pictured on the LHD Depos on here, they are completly opposite of the RHD version. I am wanting to change these so I don't blind every oncoming driver and end up getting a ticket by the local authorities.

Do you have the old deflectors still?

Just went and checked and I couldn't find them them. I was pretty sure I had chucked them because I knew that was the one part on each that I would in no way use with the retro.

I guess you'll just have to retro yours as well!!
