Has anyone mounted a York for OBA?

I have this York compressor, a tank and some other doo-dad's I collected for a OBA project on my old 4runner. I was going to sell this stuff off, but I figured why not try to install it all in the Land Cruiser?

I did a quick google search and found some info, but was wondering if anybody here has a york OBA setup they can show off?

Jonheld put one on his 3FE..

York is awesome. Kicks any electric out of the ballpark, assuming you have fuel.
It did require some R/D, but it works flawlessly aside from the 1 leaky fitting in the system. Holds pressure for a few hours which is good enough for me.

OBA

Howdy! Yup, totally agree about the performance of these. Got one on my Piggy, and it does great. Don't know if anyone makes a kit to set them up in an 80 though. John

A few mount kits have been made. IMHO; after running the Puma, wont be messing with Yorks any more. The Puma delivers good air volume, without the York fiddling.

Considering the space available in the 80's engine bay, I would hesitate to put a York in there. It can be done, but for all the time and money, the Puma is a MUCH better option. I have the York in my FJ 55, but I went with the Puma in my 80. On my 315's, it takes me up from 15 to 35 psi in 3 minutes flat, on each tire. I can live with that. John

Here's one my buddy made. He was thinking about selling kits but when he had some brackets mad on a plasma table it ended up being a waste of metal. The parts didn't come out so good and would have taken more grinding than they were worth.

I have a sanden compressor on my 3FE. Removed the compressor oil and greased the internals with amsoil.
