Has anyone installed a double din monitor that does NOT have a flip out screen? I want to install a 7" In-Dash CD/DVD monitor into my LX450 and was wondering how they fit and if anyone has had any success.

I have a Pioneer P3100 which fits just fine. (Sorry about the crappy iPhone pic)

Yeah thats exactly what I'm looking to do, it looks like it fits perfect. What connector did you use to hook it up? Does anyone sell a connector that just plugs-in to the factory harness? with no wire splicing?

Get the harness for toyota and it will make life simple, use the 2 gray plugs (in the dash) instead of the white one and disable the factory amp.

I installed an Pioneer Avic FT700BT. Get an adapter harness from Walmart or any stereo / auto parts store. Practically plug & play.

LX450 wiring harness is different than the LC.

To the OP- do a search with my user name and "scosche", you should find a few post within the last year that have some detailed info on wiring for a LX450.

Fits like it came that way.

I didn't realize so many of you have them installed!

BTW, Todd (Koffer) has done a double DIN Toyota Nav. unit installed in his 80, IIRC.
