Has anybody squeezed these things together yet?

Finally got around to hooking up my later model (powered) leather seats only to find out the driver seat didn't survive the previous owner.

Thinking about putting together some of the spare parts pile into manual leather seats.

Or is this a solved problem and I can't find a link to it?

No, but I am interested. I like everything about the leather seats except the for and aft adjustment with a fragile plastic gear.

Curious to see how they turn out. Just installed the manual seats I picked up from you. Amazed at how much roomier the 80 feels with them compared to the leather seats.
