i've gotta swap a harmonic balancer, and i need to know how to do it.

one of the motors is at pick and pull, so it means no starter,

the other is on my running rig

46mm socket will be your friend...

Cordless inpact?

You will need a puller....preferably a t-bar style....

No biggie.

how do you stop the crank turning instead of the nut loosening?

Put it in gear? Impact? Remove sparkplug, fill cylinder with water, replace plug?

in gear won't help, it's at pick and pull, they have them off the ground with no wheels on

You can pull a plug and stuff rope in the cylinder.
