Hardtop Seal Kit (1 Viewer)

I need to purchase a seal kit for a FJ40 hardtop. I found two different kits and the difference in price is substantial. I would like to know if one is better than the other. And this hardtop will only be on for hopefully no more than six months b4 it gets new paint. After paint the hardtop is going on long term.

I personally got mine from Ralph Hayes Toyota(RICK ARFLIN)a couple months ago. he gives comparable prices to Cruiser Dan. . From what I hear some folks do like the CCOT stuff but it take a little patience to get it to fit just right. The toyota stuff I got was pretty nice. Thats been my only experience thus far. Your right though, the price difference is significant. If your planning on the top being on long term it might be best just to bit the bullet and get toyota OEM if you can.

The CCot stuff is a combination of various generic stuff that will work but is FAR from anywhere the design or quality of the OE stuff. Jeff at Champion Toyota in Houston gives a great TLCA discount and is who I goto for all my OE needs.

Thanks guys for the information that helps a lot. I will call the local dealerships in town and see if they have them in stock. If not, then I will call those other dealerships.
