Can anybody positively tell me if a 1978 hardtop will fit a 1975? (fj40).

what's different about the doors?

I've got a '75 w/ later model top (see Cruiser Garage). On mine, the holes (with the captive nuts) for the rear doors did not line up. No big deal. But then, mine was a factory soft top. Otherwise, the later top will fit your '75 fine.

75 and on have amb doors. I have had two 75's set up this way, a August & September. YMMV.
