Hard to find parts... (73)

I'm having a hard time finding the two defrost hoses that go up from heater box (one on each side) to def. vents on my 73.
Also, and even more so, the rubber elbows that come out of the heater box.
Hey, while I'm at it..... What are you guys using to replace the little electric motor that sorta spins the blower fan in the rear heater?? Mine is seized. The little fan jobby is grossly inadequate.
Why does that rubber weather seal that fits around the air door in front of my winshield so expensive???? It seems these parts are impossible to find.....or priced out of range.
I would be ecstatic if I could find the bolt together roll cage with pads for less then an arm and a leg...!

These are parts that are very hard to source! Thanks for the opportunity to vent....

'73 wouldn't have had a cage originally. I'd get a Metal-tech roll cage and enjoy having a safer cage. Stock cages are thin and won't take a hard roll.

I've heard in some cases shop vac hoses have been used to replace those hoses.

You can buy universal type defrost hose pretty inexpensively.

Looking at your picture the defroster hoses don't look broke, only dirty. If you do need new ones you're not going to like the price.
