Hey gang! I searched around the forums and I couldn't find much, if anything, on these. Does anyone have a line on how to get some?

Here's what I know so far:
  • They generally come on the stock GXL model.
  • Earlier 100 series
  • Australia, mainly.
Any and all help is appreciated! Thanks! 🍻🍻🍻

Snag a VIN matching those criteria (GXL, early models, etc.) from gumtree.com.au (Aussie ebay, sort of?), and paste that VIN in partsouq.com. There you can browse all the parts diagrams for that specific model.

One reason they might be rare in the US, is a lack of 105 series here.

It is my understanding that 105 series wheels had a different offset than 100 series IFS wheels.

If the ad that @hoser linked above is correct, 0 offset, which would be the equivalent of running a ~2.36” hub/wheel spacer.

I think those were Australian Market Only wheels and likely manufactured there, locally.

There are 3rd party companies that will handle shipping:
Yup! Those are them. I’m going to write the seller and see if I can snag a part number. Great find — thank you!! Because I am wayyy down the rabbit hole on this one.

However — you raise an interesting point, jLB. If that is the case, that might conclude my search. I’m not sure I want that much of a poke. Could be cool — just not sure. 🤔

Thanks for the tip! This I think is helpful. I feel like I’m on-the-trail now. I keep finding the steel wheels for this model but not the alloy ones I’m looking for. I feel like I’m closer now though with your idea. Cheers 🍻

I have a 105 with OEM steel wheels (the D-shaped cutouts). I'm interested in your rationale for making the change to alloys. I don't particularly care for my wheels and had been contemplating changing them for something else. And if you don't mind, would you please post the information you find on offset for the 105? I have a lot of trouble finding this information. Thanks in advance!

100s offset is -60. 105 offset is zero.

Here in Oz the later 70 series GXL provides a good choice of dished factory alloys to fit straight on to a 105. 16" dia.

However, if you fit factory zero-offset 105/76/78/79s wheels to a 100s they will stick out 60mm further each side. Likely to rub, potentially stress the axles, and change your scrub radius.

For 100s options, have you considered early 200s 17" wheels (did the US market get 17"s)? I can't recall the change date but believe the later 200s wheels have a different centre hole size/profile precluding them fitting onto a 100s without some modification.

Both come up for sale routinely on Gumtree Australia - https://www.gumtree.com.au/

Oh, and the wheels in your OP were an Australian 'dealer-fit' option. They are 16" dia.

Toyota AU specified them as Royale, manufactured by ROH. The Royale was available in zero offset for our 105s, and -60 for our 100s. It was later available aftermarket as the ROH Impact. Painted silver or machine finish.

*(thanks to LCOOL.org for this detail).
