Anyone sporting a Hanson front bumper on their 40 series and if so can you add pics of it. Was wondering what the quality is of them. They look very good but I am tossed between the MAF 4+, the ARB bull, and this Hanson?

thanks

We put one on our 1980 HJ47, then mounted a Warn Endurance winch. Probably see it here, we did a full story on it:

Between the wheels and bumper, you gotta subscribe! We're covering all your stuff!:grinpimp:

Sorry for the hijack, but what is with the hydraulic lines for the ram assist on the truck in that photo? I've never run one; do people really leave them dangling down below the tie rod like that?

Back on topic, I voted for the MAF 4+ and have been very happy with mine:

Just the hard core, real wheelers do; the rest of us route and secure them so that those aggressive curbs and small children will not get to them.

Nice Land Cruiser!

The Hanson looks cool, but the tapered bottom edge would concern me for steadiness while jacking against it. The MAF has a squared off bottom edge.

yes but on the 8274 version the hoop bar extends forward and effectively prevents the use of a hi-lift on that bumper. It may be doable with a jack extension tool like Slee Off Road sells, but I haven't had a chance to try that yet...

Does the Hanson come with a way to mount an 8274? I couldn't tell from their writeup...

yes on the Hanson, you have to buy a seperate $100 mount to mount the 8274, and yes you are right on the MAF for 8274 where it actually pertrudes forward which I dont really care for versus the one the slants backwards, other than that I love the MAF 4+
