Proves that where there's a will there's a way. Excellent example of a person skilling themselves to make ends meet and fill a need. Also, those boots are not OSHA compliant.

well, in a less than functioning society or in a pinch i can see gettin er done. salvage some alloy from a burnt out car, fashion a fire with bellows, and work out the details.. nice to see this kind of mastery even if it wouldn't totally pass Toyota quality assurance, ha--

You think that's cool, you should watch these guys when it comes to making guns from scratch. I've seen some of the AK 47's they've build, along with the AK's they use to make some pretty great copy's of the British short magazine Lee Enfield bolt action rifle all by hand.
