Had my "ECT" on, off, now check engine light ?? (1 Viewer)

I searched and didn't see a thread title that was spot on this. I'm concerned...

Just to see the power difference, I cruised my 93 around for a few days with the "ECT" power button on. It was fun and interesting. I was just driving to work and shut if off. My check engine light immediately came on.

What did I do? Fry a sensor? Any help on what to look for would be great. I'm going to go pull the code, but I dont have time for a few days. Am I okay?

I thought it needed an OBD I reader. I figger'd it out. Never no mind.
