Hi everybody, I havnt been on here for a while because real busy I have moved to a different part of the LOWER MAINLAND and now I am back again focussed on Land CRUISERS since it was a TLCA, COASTAL CRUISER event that brought my fiance her son and me together.
I have an ARB RD23 rear locker and the OME 2.5" lift installed went wheeling once and have noticed that the driver side front wheel bearing is loose amongst afew ball joints. I want to replace all ball joints with greasable ones.
My question is before the lift I checked both front wheels no play and now 3 weeks later the drivers side has quite a bit of play. With suspention and steering geometry at a good stance is this common with lifts and different spring rates (heavy duty rate up front because of winch) thanks for any reply.

hello,
i recently lifted my truck with ome springs/shocks, and before setting the wheels down i noticed very slight play in one of the wheels and wondered if a bearing could be on the way out, checked the other and it was the same. Very slight movement. I put this down to the locking hubs needing a bit of play. The rears were fine. Also, truck had been in for a service. Would be interesting to know though if that is how it should be or not..
