It’s Been a good year with my 4o on ih8mud ....and no body has complained about my bezel being upside down......not sure if I hate it ....almost looks better fat side down.How much is this going to annoy people?is it worth it just to be different?

Wise decision - you've avoided the FJ40 Persona non Grata trash heap.
I have tried the bezel with the fat side down and although it didn't really bother me I decided I liked it better fat side up.
Then I got on this forum and became a bezel snob like the rest.
I have noticed that with the wide side up women are more attracted to me the Land Cruiser gets better gas mileage and I make more money.

I don't know about "wider" in relation to women but busty is definitely an advantage in my view. Wider in the rear is definitely a negative.
