Did some more research. I think this is it: 33030-60450. And the 5th gear oiler cup is 33124-36010. Still trying to verify that this is for the F-shaft version now. Price from my local Toyota dealership is $1,640.00 with my discount.

For H55F - F input shaft

H55F 33030-60450
oil pipe 33124-36010
lever assy. 33530-60160
knob 33504-14050-co (or just get one from a mini truck, and the transfer knob while your at it).

$1640?, man you have a crazy discount. I haven't seen under $1840 for a new one.

$1640 is dealer cost, not alot of mark up on the H55 and thats a smokin deal!

I just sold a rebuilt pair (tranny tcase) for 1600.00.

Yes that is a good deal.

TB

I do alot of highway driving on my 84', what else would I need to get to swap in the H55F? I'm tired of driving on the interstate at 3K RPMs. 2400 sounds nicer :)

I have 33x12.50s (Shackle Lift) and stock gears. Engine has a little help from a Weber Carb and exhaust but other than that the truck is untouched. I think I want this to be my first major move. Then one day a 350 :D

I think for the '84 you would need to extend front/shorten rear drive shafts, in addition to the rest of the stuff.

BTW, here is the best H55F write up I have seen (from the Tech section)
http://www.off-road.com/tlc/tech/h55fswap/ .

I would like to do a similar swap to a FJ45 but the local toyota dealership here requires that I provide them, in additioin to the part number, the engine and chassis number. Can anyone help?

gas or diesel?

FYI current list in the Southeast is $2709 for an H55F part # 33030-60450

Does that include the one still in the box in my garage ?

:D

I wonder how many H55's are in the USA, Last time I checked it was around 9, and that was over 3 months ago. :hmm:

I think between the various parts suppliers, that number is closer to 25. Hell, I bet James in NH had 4 or 5.

Old thread!!
Update 33030-60450 Norwalk Toyota $2382.85

But that is just for the gearbox correct? That doesn't count the other parts that need to be purchased like the 5th gear oiler and whatnot.

i just bought one last year for my swap

Holee chitballs....$1600....Then realizes the thread is 15 years old 🙄

I bought one of those $1600 (Though I seem to remember it was $1650) H55fs about 14 years ago from Cruiserdan. I'm still driving it! It's in it's second truck and second clutch. H55f's abide.

$1600 be out of my pocket 10 minutes ago if that was still the price 😂

agreed...i'd buy several of them right now and sit on them and hatch them like little eggs for future goodness.
