you'll have to remove the rear x-member but you can weld it back in further back in the frame. make sure you do not end up with driveline interferrance issues though. also, mount it far enough back that the t-case and trans can be removed without problems.

as for the x-member, you can modify the 60 series unit to work. done so a few times.

you will have to modify the trans tunnel quite a bit due to the different shifter locations and the added heigth of the h55f top cover. the t-case shifter hole will need to be modified as well.

you can retro the ebrake from a late 40 into the split case, or you can run a disc brake setup on the back of the split case. TSM sells it. i'm building one for a customer right now with the tsm setup on it. looks pretty slick but might get close to the frame rails.

overall, a great mod! :wrench:

How does the stock cable attach to the TSM?

I call them and ask, the dip-s*** that answered the phone had no idea .......

you have to come up with your own cable, just like "parts mik's" and highangles' disc brake setups.

calling the guys at TSM dip-s***s is doing them a dis-service. i have been dealing with them for a long time and they've been extremely helpful and friendly. i have never had a bad transaction with them........
