H55f input shaft help needed asap (1 Viewer)

So I am rebuilding an H55F for someone. This thing was previously rebuilt poorly.

Anyways. I just installed the toyota needle Toyota need roller bearings in the input shaft and the ID is about 26mm. The output shaft bearing surface is 32mm.

What the heck!?

What am I missing here?

Did someone install a different input shaft you think?

So it appears someone installed a bushing. I removed it. When I put the input shaft over it there is a lot slop so it looks like a new mainshaft is now required.
