Obviously, not all bellhousings with a 3F on top are the same. In my opinion, the 2F bellhousing is better anyway, because it doesn't tip the transmission 9 degrees to the side like the 3F bellhousing. Grind it and bolt it up. 6 months from now, you'll have forgotten all about it.
But, 2F bell housing should really require double cardan drive shafts, not required with the 3F housing (in a mostly stock config)

Also, though I have a 3F housing, (it had more to do with the HJ61 frame i was using) the slave cylinder is adjustable on the 2F configuration. But, 2F bell housing should really require double cardan drive shafts, not required with the 3F housing (in a mostly stock config)

Also, as Elbert said, there are technically 5 different part numbers for the bell housing during FJ60 production, and some change in just a few months time span.
5 different part numbers to correspond to B, H, 2F, 3F, those 4? And what else?
I have 3F stamped on my truck's bell housing.

What was the point of clocking it? To move the t-case up?
Mine is squarely aligned and has no double cardan. My trans is in though which is nice.
