H150F & H151F Compatibility

Hi,

Is it possible tu swap an H150F fine spline input shaft for the H151F coarse spline one?

I would like to do this in order to keep the lower geared H150F box and be able to use it with the 300mm clutch & pressure plate behind a 1HD-T engine.

It would also be possible to just keep the H150F fine slpine input shaft and use the smaller clutch & pressure plate from a 1HZ engine. But it would be on a 1HD-T. I don't know if that is the way to go. Less work though.

I thought the 151 was only lower geared on first gear? Is this worth the expense and trouble?

Ok, I never picked that, my 80 [petrol] is fitted with the H150F and part time 4WD so it feels a bit different than the later models with constant 4WD but I was not aware the other gears were different.cheers.

I'm pretty sure and after driven many 80 part time and other full time, the issue of the full time is the diference ..

Maybe coz in the full time you need to move one more axle .. I'm not sure .. but the diference is important to me.
