GX470 Alternator Saga (1 Viewer)

I’m in the process of replacing an alternator in my gx470 (2004 ~218k miles), all was going well until the atenrator bolt snapped flush with the bracket. I was able to remove the top two nuts.

Is it safe to drive the truck with the alternator mounted only on the top two studs?

I wouldn't. If it's an emergency for short distance. Get it right for long term. Also do a lot of inspection. If you throw the drive belt you will be in for a pretty penny
