Getting there... slowly. Still have some issues to resolve but it’s coming together. Need to order sliders, fix some minor rubbing, and a couple other minor details. Very happy so far!

Directly due to this forum, I’ve avoided a bunch of mistakes and saved a lot of money. Thank you, everyone.

Here’s step one and two of my wife’s GX470 rig project. A new radio!

Step two is wheels and tires:

Since I bought a GX460 for myself I’ll be mirroring most of our mods that we did on the GX470. I’ll be ordering the same wheels and tires tomorrow. And once we move in two weeks and have a garage again I’ll be tackling the running board removals on both vehicles. Have an idea on front and rear bumpers for the GX470 but have no idea what to do on the GX460. More to come later.

Hey y’all, I’ve been MIA for a while, but here’s how my truck sits now

Visited the Alvord Desert earlier this month. We took the long route with 500+ miles on dirt, gravel, and rock from Bend, OR. The GX handled it like a champ.

Only had this for a few months.

I did a thing. Liked my wife’s 470 and her wheels/tires so I duplicated. The good news is they don’t rub on the 460 either.

Also added a combination anti tailgater device + tow/recovery hook.
