Called discount-tire.com and talked to there tech there and he called me back after he spoke directly with good year and there haulting production on the GOODYEAR WRANGLER MTR! well atleast the 37's and i'm not ready to go to 40's... where are you getting yours.

is the only option find someone who has them stocked? or what... these tires are awesome and i don't want anything else now.. :bounce:

I know the feeling. I wanted some 315 MTRs for my 80 series and they are on backorder indefinately according to my Goodyear store. The largest size that they have available is a 285. He was showing a set of 37's but for 17" rims I think but there was only like 5 available at this time. Good Luck.

yea I know you run them to, but recently they've haulted production, i could as well get numerous sites that say they have them in stock, but call them up and ask.. and thats a different story..but you may in fact be correct

i got the last one in stock in a goodyear store ( i live in saint augustine florida)

EDIT: called 4wheel parts and there "backordered" till 9/30

Yea this really kinda sucks. I've been looking for 3 years. Three years ago I did settle for 38x12.5x15 TLS sx's. Now don't get me wrong, the sx's have been a great off road tire. They are now starting to get chuncked out and they never did ballance very well, now their getting wobbly at speed.

I want another set of tires, something 37" and a radial with aggresive tread. I want a tire that I can still drive to the trail head, go wheelin and drive it back home. When I go hard core I'll trailer, and put the sx's back on.

The MTR was a great compromise, and I got a lot of miles outa my 33's. What are we going to replace these with gentlemen Idea's?

my thoughts exactly... as long as they go back into production with in the next 6 months I won't be worried.... but otherwise its hard to find a tire with this much streetability as well as its off-road characteristics.

Bandy, I actually run bias IROKs, they kick ass. They run down the road well, and the really really kick ass on the trail. Their only downfall is that they wear pretty fast, but they are cheep. I don't drive my cruiser much so they are a great choice for me.

I picked up my 37 MTR's from Discount Tire Direct (internet side of Discount/America's Tire). They shipped them to my house for $220 each. Shipping was free. Check 'em out.

I remember back when I purchased my 37s, I had to source 2 tires located down in Hawaii and have them sent up to Toronto as they were very hard to locate - but, you will find them in the end.
