Since many Dixielanders are coming up to GSMTR this year we need to come up with a plan. I suggest we should camp near the snake farm, since most of us will be hanging out over there anyway.

I will be getting there either late Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

Post up if you are coming and when you plan to arrive and we will go from there.

UC has spcific places for everyone this year. The AL/MS/LA clubs camping together in the mosh pit... Not sure CLC skeleton crew is bringing the snake farm though.
Leaving Auburn Tuesday afternoon. Prolly gonna get a Motel6 room someplace that night then arrive in camp early Wednesday morning.

you can crash in ATL if you want. We gots room for Lorena and tow rig.

When you heading up? You had better already be up there when we pass through!

Arriving on Thursday, possibly late Wednesday night if I feel up to it. Staying in a bunk room.

I'm a big maybe...bigtime storm damage in my area (i'm ok and my stuff is ok)...just got the truck back with new gears installed...may not have time to test out before ridea. So I may just drive up for one day in the pickup and leave the cruiser at home. Still on the fence at this late date.

Golden Mountain should be a good place to test them out!

I am glad that you made it out without any damage from the storms.

leaving Wed AM, arriving GMP around lunchtime. Can't take the whole week off like I did last year. Marshall will be up there at the beginning of the week along with a couple other UC'ers. PM me.

Is there a convoy? Or ya'll going it alone? I was thinking of coming up that way this weekend to get that remaining wheel, and some other parts hopefully from ACC.
Somehow some way I gotta get this backlash set in this R&P or I might not be wheeling!

I'm pretty far south and not leaving until 10am so probably not going to make any convoy. Guessing passing thru Auburn around 12-1 if you want to meet up on the highway somewhere.

Not to mention I just had my fuel system clog up and crap out on me (well 7 month pregnant wife the one day she ever borrowed it) 1 week after rebuilding my fuel injectors. Hopefully I can get the shop to fix clean out my system/tanks and get me back on the road this week. EERRG. It is always something on trucks isnt' it? I've never really paid for work that I could do to be done before. Not a good feeling but I'm putting faith in other humans and hoping they don't screw me and do their best.

Wednesday? I'll be gone. but dragr won't.

Thanks.. Yea I agree, I might show on Friday or Sat. Due to the storm and the arsenal being closed for an extended period one of the meetings I need to be part of may impact my Friday.

You need to work on Tom, he really wants to go, but is afraid of missing work and wants to stay in a hotel... I'm positive that if he came to a cruiser event he couldn't get home fast enough to buy a lift, sliders and a rear locker...

I see what you did there... Where is good info about the schedule of events? If I came, it would be leaving here Thursday evening to be there all Fri, Sat, and Sun...
