Can anyone tell me where this wire should be connected?

appears to be a ground but im not sure, I have zero electrical knowledge. Was changing my oil today noticed this was just loose in my engine bay.

The other end is attached to whatever is circled there. Something that connects to the dizzy. That should tell you how much i know ha!

If im not mistaken I think there is a bolt on the forward engine lift bracket that has a ground ring attached. It is a ground though, so ground it somewhere. ( most metal bits will work ) :)

See that bolt holding your dipstick tube? also a good spot for it.
Thank you very much for the quick help. Appreciate it.

Correct. It is supposed to go where the bolt is missing on his engine lift (upper left). But could do just as well anywhere the engine provides a good grounding surface.
