I've got some electrical gremlins that appear to be caused by a bad ground, but I haven't been able to find it yet.

When I step on my brakes my right signal indicator light and right side signal lights come on.
Also the heater slows and there is a load that is visible on the ammeter.

The battery grounds, engine strap, and rear ground all appear seem to be fine. Fiddling with them has not changed anything.

Is there a ground under the dash somewhere? Or somewhere else I don't know about?

Thanks!

Under the Left and Right front pillar.

Sounds like a short in your brake light wiring . Either the switch at peddle or in the back end wires . Common where the wires go outside the body from drivers side to passenger side in the ass end . Worn wires, missing loom and grommets.
Just my 2 cents . Been there
