Hey all,
GCC is making plans for their annual picnic and wheel'n trip to Disney, OK October 22 & 23.
For those not familiar with the area, Disney is on the south side of the dam at Grand Lake about an hour NE of Tulsa. Trails range from easy to hardcore stuff. Camping, cabins, gas, groceries, restaurants, and auto parts are all within a couple miles of the trails in Disney and Langley. If ya break bad, Russ Hogan has a full shop and welders available plus a Unimog tow truck to drag your junk off the trail.
GCC has rented the pavilion at the State Park and they have tent camping sites at the pavilion for $8 per tent and $15 per RV. There are also restrooms and showers at the pavilion. Another popular camping location is Russ Hogan's Off-Road Park. Great camping and shower facilities there also and camping sites area similarly priced. Check the link above for info cabins in the area.
Typical raffle prizes (as Eric will attest ) include a Ramsey Winch, Snap-On Tools, CO2 systems, camping gear, lots of Toyota stuff from Toyota of Dallas.
There should be a very good turn out for the event as LSLC and The White Trash of Elwood are making plans to attend as well. Burgers and hot dogs are provided, bring a side dish if you like or your favorite steak and we'll through on the grill.
Hope to see ya there!!!
