I found information about the gravity center update, curious if it is a safety concern for these models.

Never had a problem. Just keep the sway bar items refreshed and it'll never feel like it will get tippy. I've even run no sway bars before on my 1.5 inch lifted setup with stiff suspension setup, and never felt it get too tippy.

I agree. Currently touring with my 98 with a full load of 5 ppl and stuffed to the gills in the back and carrying a decent sized load on top with a carrier box.
She was fairly stable and predictable even at highway speed crurves in Appalachian mountains!
