Got white dash lights? Then I need your help. (1 Viewer)

Wanting to change my instrument panel dash lights from green to white. Does anyone know how many I need and the part number?

I found this...

I swapped the instrument cluster LED's to white and took the little green condoms off the wedge bulbs in the heater panel. It was super easy and yes you can dim it with the factory dimmer knob.

I installed these in Feb 2013, they are as white as my wife's RX300. Really makes the truck look more modern than the old green. I bought 4x 2-packs, I think there's 8 lights in the cluster. I just had one burn out last week, not too bad and I don't have to worry about dimming them!

Correct me if wrong but without reading all 18 pages of link it looks like all that is needed is the remove the green condoms off the existing dash lamps and Ill have white dash lights?

You'll have yellowish dash lights. That's why I went with the PIAA lights. They are crisp white instead of dull yellow (condoms removed).

most likely they will look yellowish. you need LEDs for white

The PIAA incandescent bulbs are pure white and not LED.
