-Powder Coated Them Black
-Nitto 295 Terra Grapplers
-Black Lug Nuts
-Totally digging it

Here are a couple pics below, but the rest can be seen at: Baja Overland

What else do you wanna know? :D

How much more do your steelies weigh than the stock alloys (16" to 16")? And is the wheel position on the rig the same (identical) to the alloys even though the steelies are a little thinner?

Not sure exactly, but definitely a good amount more! :D Yes, they are both 16's

And is the wheel position on the rig the same (identical) to the alloys even though the steelies are a little thinner?

Also dont know (or care, hehehe) on that one. Dimensionally they are the same, same backspace, same dimensions, etc... But you have a good point on the wall thickness, dunno.

I have tested them lock to lock with zero rubbing if that matters! :D

Also, check your PM's

Thanks

From your earlier post Spresso here https://forum.ih8mud.com/100-series-cruisers/57183-weight-steel-wheels-vs-factory-alloys.html
They weigh 41 lbs verses 24 lbs for alloy(quoted in the above thread.)
They are the same wheel and go in the same position and go round and round the same!

Looking good!

Hey BostonMangler-
if it's not a huge secret, can you tell us your source for the wheels?
Thanks.

Not until i score 2 more for the trailer i will be building! :flipoff2:

Sorry

I just checked out your truck on Baja Overland...KILLER! Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see the article in Toyota Trails.
