putting a 2f back together. things are going pretty good. last night i torqued the head down and forgot to put the engine lift hook on the rear of the engine under the head bolts before i torqued them. i'm sure i'm not the first one to do this. does this mean my 2f will live it's life without the rear hook, or is it ok to untorque 2 bolts to put the lift under the bolt? i think i know the answer to this question, (No, don't do it) but i'm asking because it would be easier to install the engine if the hook was there.

thanks,

This is just my opinion...
Assuming you haven't filled the engine with coolant, pull them off and mount the hook. Retorque and check all the others.

If you have filled it with coolant, stash the hook in the glove box and remount it if/when you need to pull the motor.
