I got my TEQ badges from Wit's End. FINALLY!

I tell you what, I received it in two days! I ordered them Wednesday, I got them Friday morning! I was impressed with the packaging and shipping. It was handled with care and was delivered "VIA AIR MAIL"...

    787.jpg

I ONLY ordered two badges and to find out, it came with a WIT's END LIGHTER.... for FREE! What the heck???
Now Joey expects me to smoke and drink? Bad influence.... Someone is getting fired at Wit's End quality control or shipping department... His SON??
    photo-1.JPG

Then I had to leave the badge inside my freezer at work and leave it over night just to get the glue off of the backing paper. Poor production...
The glue sticks to the paper not on the badge... :bang::doh:

In preparation for the install, I had to use a cherry picker to gain access to my ARB badge, tore the front end apart.... A lot of work for this TEQ badge!

I learned from the previous Mudder's that installed theirs, they didn't use safety glasses, instead of using safety goggles, I used this instead for better protection... The glue that was used stinks!

    1.jpg
Getting the ARB bagde off is easy... but installing the TEQ badge, I had to use a 3M glue...
    image-2.jpeg
    image-3.jpeg image-4.jpeg

We had to tear the front end apart just to finish this dang decal job. It's a long process guys...

And it's an EXPENSIVE mod, not CHEAP...

    WHY??

Because I found out that one of my inner axle oil seal is shot when we took them apart to install the TEQ BADGE, I had to buy a rebuild kit and might as well worked on it while they're off right?

Since I had the axles off just to install the TEQ BADGE, might as well put the 4.88's and ARB locker in...

    photo 3.JPG photo 1-2.JPG

If you guys are thinking of getting these badges.... think about it first..... It will cost you more money!

It does look good on the bumper though... I will probably start getting questions like, what does that mean??? It looks like an ARB bumper though... :flipoff2::censor:

This thread is great! My son was just reading it thinking he's fired before he even started. I guess humor is lost on him :meh:

I have some camping friends that are not on mud, but cruiser owners and they think they are on top of their maintenance... Until I told them to peek through this site and have a look at few members thread.

They said iH8MUD members are crazy and members have OCD!

    I said Nooooooo!

Yes, the backing paper needs more glue. What brand is good?

And Joey, tell the person who shipped my goods, thanks for putting the lighter by mistake!

At least we'll have a few years of stupid sticker replacement threads for a while rather than the cup holder ones.

I can't read the Tail number on the PFD (Primary Flight Display) but from the EICAS it appears to be one with GE engines. (No TPR indication)

^^^ it is indeed... From wits-end cargo company. It's only been a year and it's been having issues with APU. I think they're still better than scarebus though...

Although I think they're great mod, I've only read a few of them actually, since I was not a big fan of cup holders.

Slap a TEQ decal in that cockpit and it'll fly higher. Faster too.

But you may have some overheating issues - and watch that head gasket.
