Had a conn-fer rack on my 80 before I sold it now I plan to put it on my HJ...will need to replace the 12v w/24v bulbs.....(6 hella 550s). Who knows a good source for 24v bulbs?

I have ordered from them several times, and I've always been happy with their good service and good prices. I asked them about 24V bulbs recently for my new BJ42, and they told me they can get just about anything.

(If you can't find what you need on the website, just email them and ask. They answer email within a day or so.)

Looking for 24v Driving light.....bulbs

You can get them here in Canada at any auto parts place that also supplies parts for heavy duty trucks and equiptment. Lordco in BC has a very good selection of Hella and other brand 24 V bulbs. If they don't have it in the store they can usually get it in a couple of hours to a couple of days.

same here in Winnipeg,l got H4s from Napa for all the JDM cruisers l work on.

This is going to sound like sacrilidge but I checked NAPA yesterday @ $9+ whereas the local (Victoria, BC) Toy dealer sold em for $3+. They told me the price had gone down. Sometimes I think they set the prices with a oujia board.

No doubt if you shop around you can get cheap H4 knock-offs. It's false economy since they don't last as long on a vibrating diesel. That's why Volvo has a specific Osram 94916 HD H4 bulb for their off road equipment. When compared with your average parts store H4 one can easily see where it's built stronger for rough use.
All H4s are not equal; you get what you pay for.
