Looks good R2M, I am hoping to get two of the 34R-PC1500T. The Amp hours for each of your batteries is 42Ahr which gives you a total of 84Ahr for both if you were pulling off them at the same time. On the batteries I am wanting to use a single battery gives me 68Ahr each for a total of 136Ahr. Thats quite a difference. I am glad you were able to find a solution there are no drop in ready kits out there in the market right now.

HitchCrack
Just need more GX'ers to make noise that we NEED a dual battery solution to people like Christo Slee, Eric Hansen and some of our other supporters.

Link for the Prada light please!!!!!!

I just use Yahoo Japan auctions and search. Just got the grille in and next should be the tailgate garnish. If it wasn't cold as hell here I'd be in the garage more but until spring I'm in hibernating mode.

With winter over it feels nice to be able to get started modifying Kiichiro. I pulled the trigger on the Fuel Tech Wheels in the Anthracite finish. These are a new design and I went with the 17"s over the 20"s for the occasional offroad use and comfort factor. Plus 17"s don't hit your wallet as much as 20"s do. For tires my original choice was the Nitto Ridge Grappler, an excellent rated tire that I was confident would get me anywhere. In the end however I stayed with the tried and tested KO2 in a 285/70/17 size. I get some minor rubbing but once the Dobinson lift is installed that'll go away. All in all I'm really impressed. Cheers!

NICE 80!!!! oh and welcome to the 150 forum. It's lot quieter here compared to the 80's section.

Holy moly these things hold value well, still half the price of a new one with almost 100k and 7-8 years later. It actually makes owning a new one fairly "cheap".
Yes, much quieter. Probably a good thing for me - I’ve done too much on the 80, don’t need further inspiration for the gx

Looks great with the rims and step delete...you should throw a pic in here too.

I agree. I also want to know how was the cladding removal? Looks like prados don’t have any cladding. You must be filling holes and painting.

Will do! Preciate the feedback. I do like the cleaner look compared to the low hanging USDM spec. I'll add more pics.

That's the plan, also considering wrapping and that should address. It's a much cleaner look which I like. Got a local quote to plug and fill and at that rate I might as well wrap the thing. Will keep you posted.

Where I’ve come from, where I am and what I’m working towards! Front bumper gets picked up tomorrow or Thursday then I just need front lights and emblem before tear down.

Should be interesting with that bumper on it, love the “Surf”.

Almost there...keep waiting on headlights...next week hopefully. At least these arrived along with emblems

Got started on the rear with the lights and bumper. Lexus does not have the proper pigtail for the lights so reaching out to Toyota for a part number (fingers crossed so don't have to splice wiring). Also the parking sensors fit the Prado bumper at an angle so also investigating OEM clips. So far though so good. If all goes well should have the back done and can move to the front. Going with the clears but held up both for some perspective. Removed the hitch as well; don't pull anything so I'm not inconvenienced. Cheers!

Since you like the JDM touches and previously stated you don’t tow, have you thought about the Greddy
Xross?

I've been mulling over options for exhaust and saw this a while back but hadn't investigated. I'll put it on my radar and reach out to Greddy. I recognize that ladder setup though; think that's the Kaddis ladder. Thanks for the pics!

Just an FYI, any exhaust hanging out the rear reduced your departure angle and you could crush your exhaust tips significantly reducing you're performance until you can either cut them off or replace them. If you're going to be taking your rig on trails the place for your exhaust is out the side, just behind the rear wheels.

Agreed; I'll definitely keep in mind. I'm really digging your battery setup! Odyssesys have never failed me...

Back is almost done; ran into a couple of snags but overall very happy with the direction the truck is going in. Better pictures and write up coming soon!
