i was thinking we should all try and meet up sometime fairly soon and get some things worked out. so we can get a logo and other stuff.

i also was thinking about a road trip through the heart of gold country. maybe starting in Auburn and heading up 49 to hi-way 20 and hit up some of the old mining towns ( north Columbia, north San Juan, graniteville, Washington, camptonville, and Allegheny among the others along the way, downieville, bassets, sierraville, smartsville , Bridgeport, forest. ive been to almost all those spots and its a fun little ride back into the gold rush days. plus there's good fishing and swimming along the way. good fun for the whole family.

post up what day works best. i have Sundays and Mondays off. so Sundays would be best for me. what say you?

Have a date in mind? What Sunday's you available?

If you make it into north San Juan, don't stop. The natives are cranky, and there are a lot of pot fields and meth labs. Anytime there is a wild fire up there it smells "funny" down here.

I'm down for a "drive" up here. Everyone can meet here at my place, and we can head out. I'll need about 2 weeks notice so i plan family activities around it.

Yeah no stopping in north San Juan for sure lol. The only place I like to stop is mother truckers. That's a cool store

Is this open invite to anyone with any 4x4 Toyota? There's a couple of us from the Altaville/Angels Camp and Jamestown/Sonora region that would love to join in.

For sure! I wouldn't see why not. The gold country roads don't have much 4 wheelin, but it's fun and way out in the boonies and has a rich history and it's pure gold country!!!

No stopping on the ridge...lol its not that bad, there are tons of cool roads n trails out here ( Washington is my fav ) I'd be down to cruise and make sure the locals don't mess with ya..hahaha

I love washington. Especially the drive through graniteville and into Washington the back way.

For info.. If you folks end up in Sonora.. Free Soda, Beer and work space anytime.. Retired as I am.. three car bays open and loaded with tools...Also tons of parking and at this time of year shade and a pool to cool off in. Then cruise on again... Just ignore all the HEEPS parked with our Toy's....LOL

P.S. this is open offer for anyone who needs a temp. wrenching area..

Tyler foote rd down to the yuba is a cool road as well
