Going down for the Easter jeep safari next weekend. This will be our 6th year and second in the 200 series (was in my 80 series the first 4 years). Any way, going to run Fins n things - my 200 has a small OME lift and I am running 285/70R17 tires on RW wheels (about 33"). Also have slee sliders. Stock front and rear bumpers.

Think I will have any trouble on this trail? Should I take my spare off and carry it inside the vehicle? It's hanging a bit lower than then the stock spare.

You will be totally fine, but your rear bumper will get redecorated in a few places. It's an easy trail, but it's not friendly to stock departure angles.

Edit: found a pic of my last 200 near one of the potential exits on Fins.

No issues with that setup.

You might touch your plastic bumper a bit at the bottom of one flat, steep rock bank, but nothing dangerous as long as you pay attention.

It's a fun trail...super scenic.

Have a great trip!

Excellent - thanks!

Please post some videos or pics of this slope and others in a 200, I'd love to see it, saw some Jeeps do it, but no LC's or LX's. I was out in Moab to Mtn. Bike last Oct and rented a Razr for a day after it rained all night before, Fins 'n Things was an absolute blast to do in a Razr.

This Discovery II blew the rear driveshaft trying to get up this section.

Bottom of your rear bumper will lose paint, but that builds character. We had an absolute blast, a good spotter is a very good idea.

Made it through the whole thing with one exception - couldn't get through the dip before the Frenchie climb (#8 on the map above), since we bottomed on the front hooks and the rear hitch. Otherwise, all good.

Gratuitous Carnage shot...

Here's a video from a couple years ago.

I should point out that while it's Easter Jeep Week here and the majority of the rigs are Jeep's, there was another 2008 200 series, an 80 series that was lifted with bumpers, and an FJ Cruiser lifted on the same run we were on. So don't hold back...

Fins n' things is a good cherry popper for those afraid to leave a little paint behind.... 8 years ago now I left a bunch of ARB black paint there from my rear bar - departure angles be damned in Moab...

Sounds/looks about right ;)

I was also kicking around Moab last weekend in my 200 series.
