Based on the advice of everyone, I am going to check the slave cyl, and the master cyl on my 87 60 on Tuesday. I have noticed that the master cyl has started leaking on my floor mat, and the slave seems all wet with oil. Do you think that that will be t he cause of my grinding into 3rd shift problem? I have also noticed that it is doing it a bit more in second. If in fact the slave and master are bad, will it cause the poor shifting in one gear only, as in my case with 3rd gear. Any idea what the slave and master will cost from Toyota.
