Going price of a clean FJ62? (1 Viewer)

What’s it worth? I have my number, but I’m taking to the forums to cross analyze my homework.

I’m considering selling my 62 wagon with 224k original miles. Interior is flawless. Clear coat is delaminating on the hood and roof but obviously repairable. Frame is clean enough to eat off. This is a TX truck with all documentation to include the window sheets and dealership paperwork. Runs great, no leaks. No smoke. All the rust is small or in an easy to fix area.

The unmentionable list:
1. Quarter size spot on rear P/S door
2. Quarter spot on rear roof above gutter
3. Quarter spot on front D/S door up near the fender
4. Rear hatch (replacement on hand just needs paint)

where is that rust in the bottom photo located? The spots you have pointed out could easily run a couple grand to have a body shop repair. But if the rest of the truck and chassis are as clean as you say then the 12-15 number is probably likely. It’s a 62 and it’s red which for some reason seems to be what the BAT market goes Gaga for.

I know you didn't ask this but...

If you decide to keep it...address that roof spot NOW, like yesterday. My rust free Texas truck developed that exact spot and I didn't address it...it boils up fast and it's now into the gutter and maybe lower. And if it's happening on that side, it's probably starting on the other side in the same spot. The gutter sealant needs to be stripped and resealed.

That's a great looking 62!...don't let those spots go any longer. Oh, and what year is the 62?
