Foam spray adhesive, locally available at upholstery supply stores, dunno about Cali.

Spray adhesive is good.

A hot melt glue gun is also good, if you need more precise control on placement of the adhesive.

i always use the Dap Weldwood contact cement in the red can. It's available at any hardwood store. Clean your surfaces really well, scuff up the foam just a bit. I put a coat on both surfaces, let it dry. Apply another coat, let it dry, then carefully put the two sides together as you will not be able to pull it apart easily. Put some weight on it or clamp overnight. If it's going to be something hanging upside down, i'd let it cure for a few days before hanging. I also use the shoe goo stuff and it works well too, but it creates a thicker chalk like deposit. I've used the contact method over and over for foam canoe seats and never had a problem. Clean surfaces and dual applications with the weight are the keys. be careful of the fumes! Good luck!

I'd bet dollars to doughnuts it isn't available anywhere in California.

Thanks, guys. Used the spray stuff. From Loctite oddly enough. Didn't know they made that kind of product. Anyway, worked perfect.
