Hey guys,

I'm tired of all the expensive repairs and over-engineered parts. Ray has convinced me... I'm going to sell the cruiser and get a Jeep Cherokee.

Hope we can still go wheeling together!

If you think a Landcruiser is expensive to repair... Go for it.:D
How about we compare notes in a year... (Once you're done building your jeep up) and see who breaks more stuff.

Had my 40 for 20 years, 100,000 miles and only have about 13-14g into it... Including purchase price, repairs, and maintenance.

Are 80s that bad? I guess I've been spoiled by my 40. In past 10 years my net cash outlay has been $0. I've only done oil changes and some relatively minor maintenence.

It's a little damp out there.

Ya got me... I didn't think you were serious... Should've gone with my gut.

Hehe :D

But in all seriousness... the 80 does seem to simply dissolve anything that MIGHT have been in my wallet.
