It was a great little trip. I learned a bit more about my wagon and found that I needed a lot less throttle than I'm used to.
Also, it's a good idea to have brake pads under your caliper piston, even if the pads is worn out. As soon as I got there Friday, I pulled my rear wheel to check a brake squeak. When I reassembled, the worn inner pad apparently fell out of the caliper. So I wheeled with the piston against the rotor. The brakes locked up a bit yesterday, so I ended up changing the rotors and pads, and replaced a badly eaten piston.
