I'm planning on checking out GWNF next weekend for some camping and trail riding. I'll probably go Friday to try and get a camp site or early Saturday morning. It costs $5 for a day, $12 for a 3 day, or $30 for a year pass, I'm not sure about the camping but it's state ran so probably cheap.

Just checking if anyone is interested. Not really organized but I'm going regardless so if anyone else wants to meet up that would be cool.

That sounds like a great time .. Post up some pics ... Maybe later on we can plan a trip, with you as the guide ...

I'm actually planning a run in Uwharrie National Forest soon, cause I'm working only an hour from there now ...

Good times ...

By the way, you're running GY MTR 37's on the 96? With 15" rims I'm assuming? Since they don't make a 37 in the 16 .... That is the same tire I want to run, but I didn't think 15's would clear the brakes. And how much are you asking, jcurious ... ????

hahahaha, nevermind, just looked at your cardomain

I'm asking 9500 obo. I think it is fair. She is in very good shape, well maintained, and I actually have a few things I'm still touching up on it. I want to make sure it is in the shape that I would do to it if I were to keep it, which is why I havent actively tried to sell it yet.

Mike,

Check it out, then let me know since I'm very interested in camping.

I'd like to but it's a little further than I want to drive for this weekend. I think I'm just staying home anyway, looks like rain all weekend here, and after the past couple weeks it will be pretty sloppy!

That sounds awesome, but I can't .. Plus I'm late replying anyways ... hehehe ...

Thank you for the invite, this weather now sucks, but good opportunity to plan my mods ...

Well I bailed myself because the weather was supposed to be bad but it ended up barely raining. It turned out better though because I found two decent wheeling spots local, and adopted a dog from the pound! pics to follow...

hahaha, new club member ...

If anyone wants to explore the GWNF I know it pretty well and I'm always game for some wheeling (pending the purchase of a new cruiser). There are some decent trails around but they have closed off some of the entrances and exits (salt shack is limited to one entrance/ exit now). With all the rain up in hburg this spring the mud is really deep (its more like giant muddy puddles though-- very little thick stuff). Let me know if you are headed this way, and I'll be glad to help with whatever I can.

Sweet... It's good to know who knows certain areas and the trails ... Thank you for the invite ....

If MATLCA ever does a event ride here, ONSC would love to ride with you guys. I've been asked multiple times if we're going to make it up there for one of our future trips...

Sounds beautiful ... We woiuld love too, it's just a matter of getting a group together, ya know? Uwharrie is the next big hump ....
