Sure, sure, I may have missed the buck on a generator......

if anyone has one they'll sell me or rent me for a week I'll send a truck for it.

Long shot I guess, but what the hell. We lost a TON of food last time and I want to have a small freezer to keep the food this time around....my shed out back has a window rattler A/C unit and get's pretty cold, so if we're without power this time for 2 weeks [like last year!!!] we'll keep the shed cool and sleep in there.

Or if it's big enough I'll tie it into my breaker box on the house.

    Never hurts to ask.

    850-291-5010...I'll be hanging plywood.

No, there aren't any here in town. And the lines are in the hundreds when they do ship in.

I have a guy driving up through Alabama to Jackson, MS to drop off his kids. He's in my Duramax and could pick one up.

I would be much more opt to purchase, since if I borrow it I will be nervous about it breaking/having to fix/ and returning it in a timely matter.

Thanks for the ideas though. BKGiii is pretty much local to me and he's called with some help. (Thanks Man!!!).........but we'll see. Still no generator for sure.

How about an ARB 62 qt frige - you could run it in the truck - or just get a power inverter and hook your fridge up to the truck etc. I did that when they cut the line on the house to upgrade to 200A.

    Good luck dude.

    I'm on my way!!!!!

Just picked one up this morning. Brother's girl's dad [whoa] works at Lowe's...held one off the truck for us. $700. Brand new and it's got enough juice to run a thousand vibrators.

    Sweet.
