My 60 has an Aussie in the rear axle... does it still take 80w90 GL5 with the locker or do I need a different type of oil?

Thanks,
ML

Yep, same oil. How do you like the Aussie on the road? does it act nice?

Does it get squirrelly in the wet/snow?

Thanks All!

As far as liking the Aussie, it is great, other than occasional clanks, bangs, etc. we do not get too much snow/ice in this part of Texas. I love it when I go wheeling and doing some medium rocks, it crawls right up.

hey shogun, a guy here in denver has one for sale for a 60/62. he is satchel on the forums. it's a new one that needs a home.

Yeah I saw the Rising Sun thread. I actually already have it (sitting in garage) I just haven't had time to install it yet.

I went with heavier gear oil (140/90?) and it significantly diminished the clanking/banging.
