First off, who has a good buy on a complete gasket set and a set of rings for a 86 2f?

Second, the PO did some kind of a de smog on my 86 fj60 and the stock carb has not been happy sence. The fuel mixture solenoid ocilates at any rpm above about 1500, witch in turn leans out the mixture and the engine starts to buck. My quick fix was to wire the fuel mixture solenoid on all the time witch makes the engine run smooth but I think this must make it run rich at times, using more gas.
My question is what is suposed to control the fuel mixture solenoid, that is aperently missing from my truck, and would ot be easer to just get a non USA carb? Do the non USA carbs have the fuel mixture solenoid? What is my best move?
Thanks
Jonathan

Gasket set- ManAFre
Rings- FLAPS

There is no MC solenoid on a Cruiser. There is an idle cut solenoid. It is grounded by the computer. Computer gets inputs from vac switch, tach and VSS. On Non-smog trucks the ICS is always grounded.
