So I have been having some venting problems on my front stock gas tank. Figured out today that the check valve is clogged. This is the little plastic fuel filter like looking thing that basically keep fuel from going towards the charcoal canister I believe. Mine is clogged badly. Questions:
- Is this part really necessary? are others using the evap system without it with no problems? any other parts that may take it's place?
- where can I get these cheaper? I know SOR has them for around $40 I believe? I guess I will spend it if necessary but would rather not. Anyone else found another part that would work in the same way? there has got to be another fuel check valve used out there somewhere? any part #'s or help is appreciated.
