gas or diesel chassis (1 Viewer)

HI , just joined and would really need some help..I have a 72 45 but the chassis is bad, i also have 2 diesel chassis that are ok, from fj 45´s, i plan on restoring the gas one, but what about resale if i use the diesel chassis with the gas motor and 3 speed, everything is in great condition and original..also how about resale of a diesel fj45 1974, guys, thanks I´m talking about a pick ip long bed

If you restore a diesel one as a diesel I'm sure it would sell well stateside as we never had diesels in the states.

I would expect, as far as the chassis goes, the only difference would be the motor mounts. Do what makes you happy...

thanks, i´m having a hard time finding a decent gas chassis. after stalling for a month i´m now going to get it together..also.if you guys need anything give me a shout, i can get most parts and i have a shed full of the stuff..no weather stripping though, that i cannot find anywhere. dhl is close but expensive, i could try the post..something small to start to see if it works. thanks for you advice, i´m sure i´ll be picking them brains in the near future...regards.Paul
